Las Vegas Trip (1 Viewer)

Okay, I know there is already a thread on going to Las Vegas, but my search did not find it so here we go....

Wife and I, both mid 40's, are going to Vegas in November. Get away from the kids, anniversary, birthday, whatever....first time to Vegas so kinda looking forward to the trip.

Very early but looking for suggestions on hotels to consider on the strip without breaking the bank (New York New York looks okay?), shows to see, etc.

Not big gamblers, but might waste a little $. Just hoping to relax, kick back, and have a good time de-compressing for a few days.

Any thoughts (or lead me to the existing thread).

Stay at the Flamingo(cheap but well connected to other properties) and hang at the Bellagio. Venetian is a must visit and if I was not gambling it is where I would stay, just a ton of cool things on property.

I got this one, Rude.

But it's owned by Sheldon Adelson, and why would you want to give your money to that gigantic bag of dickholes?

Great suggestions. The location of The Flamingo is great and the walk between the Flamingo and Venetian is awesome at night as you will see a bunch of crazy characters on the strip. I always stay at the Venetian, and depending on when you go (winter), it is sometimes priced reasonably. But The Flamingo is perfectly fine and would probably suit you well.

1. If you want to relax, I probably wouldn't do New York New York. It's a little bit faster-paced and louder. Frankly, if you're not a gambler, check out the rates for the Trump International. Sometimes it's really affordable and the rooms are very nice. There's also no casino. Otherwise the Venetian is really nice for what you're looking for but possibly pricey.

2. There's amazing food anywhere so really your question is too broad. Narrow it down to area on the strip, price range, and whether you're willing to venture off the strip.

My only suggestion is to get an Asian hooker for your three way. Another white chick just invites your wife to compare herself to her and while a cool black chick would be awesome she will tend to dominate the evening. An Asian broad will tend to your wife, be totally submissive to the couple's desires and provided you drop hints that Asian broads are not your favorite ahead of time I think you will come out of the experience with no lingering baggage.

Good luck, nothing beats a Vegas three way with a hot Asian whore.

Wow. That's actually really good advice.

That's solid advice no matter what the topic or question asked.

i am not a big gambler (primarily like the pools and restaurants). MGM and Mandalay have worked well in that regard for mid level.

I recently went with my wife and baby and we stayed off the strip at MGM signature. The room was awesome and it's very reasonably priced. It was only about a 10 minute walk to Flamingo (center of strip). I was able to gamble and my wife and son were not exposed to the strip.

ETA -- There is no casino inside the signature.

Similar to Signature, Vdara has no casino and is usually reasonably priced.

I'm staying at the Vdara in two weeks. Not super excited about it, but hoping for the best.
