Matt Schaub Injury Thread (Non-Throwing Shoulder) (1 Viewer)

Matt Schaub - QB - Texans

Matt Schaub (left shoulder) was a full participant in practice Wednesday.

He's headed for a probable tag on Friday. "He'll be fine... He'll be ready to go," coach Gary Kubiak confirmed. Schaub's MRI revealed no ligament damage in his non-throwing shoulder. He will start Sunday versus the Seahawks.

Don't know if it helps or hurts Schaub's value with Slaton on IR now?

I think it's pretty much a push. Slaton's a nice swing target to have, but I don't expect it'd change their passing game's approach too much. Slaton or no Slaton, they've struggled to run the ball with any consistency pretty much every game, so they should still be having to throw a good deal.No Slaton might mean more to the TEs than it does to Schaub. I could see them absorbing some of those shorter targets.I'm just glad his shoulder looks like it won't keep him out this week, and hopefully he doesn't re-injure it. His playoff matchups were looking pretty tasty.
