I seem to remember a staffer writing an article based on which draft slot was the "strongest" in a serpentine draft by adding the potential value of each pick.
I don't know if I'm explaining this properly so I'll try to give an example. Basically 1.01 was worth say 1000 "points", 1.02 worth 925, 1.03 worth 875.... etc. Then after each pick was given a value, those values were totaled and you could compare the hypothetical strength of different slots.
Now that I think about it, it may have been an article proposing better methods than the traditional serpentine draft order. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
