I've watched 50 years of this offense. They are usually wearing Bears uniforms.
south park cutouts are the most played out shtick of the 2020 seasonSouth Park cutouts say, "SMB, guy."
not surprising. for a league that purports to care about player safety, they were pretty willing to throw this kid out there in the most dangerous situation they could concoctWell at least Hinton has 3 caught passes--unfortunately two were by the other team.
He looked hurt at the end of that play.....
Taysom Hill is just a guy. I don't see them going far with him if Brees doesn't make it back.feels like New Orleans need to turn to Winston going fwd though. this should be a blowout and Hill has looked not good
no respect for the passing game on either sideWow ... no safety deep at all there?
Welcome to everyday life as a Bears fan with Trubisky at QBWell at least Hinton has 3 caught passes--unfortunately two were by the other team.
He's killed Kamara's value. It sucks. Is there a reason Taysom can't throw the damn ball to Kamara??
Radio only, AMthis game should’ve been broadcast in black and white.
Taysom can’t make the additional reads past his primary. Kamara got so many receptions leaking out of the backfield while Brees went throughout his reads. Is there a reason Taysom can't throw the damn ball to Kamara??
You might as roll Cam Akers out there at this pointHe's killed Kamara's value. It sucks.
No kidding. Doesn’t throw to him and vultures his rushing TDs. Even Murray is getting more touches than Kamara with Hill as the QB.He's killed Kamara's value. It sucks.
That TD sure showed it. The DL played outstanding last week vs Miami also. That Denver D-line has to be on fumes now.
Keeping Kamara fresh for the playoffs. It makes some sense not to use him on that last drive when the game was already out of reach. But no one could foresee 1 catch in 2 games. No kidding. Doesn’t throw to him and vultures his rushing TDs. Even Murray is getting more touches than Kamara with Hill as the QB.
I also have Latavius Murray. Double sucks. You might as roll Cam Akers out there at this point
Broncos would have had a halfway decent chance if they just ran the ball on every play today.Sad because Broncos would have had a good chance in this game with Lock.
93 plays to 29 in that game?!?Here is a -30 net passing yards from the late 70's - https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/197911040sea.htm
Yep -- Seattle had only one first down all game. 11 punts -- 10 of those after a three-and-out.**93 plays to 29 in that game?!?Here is a -30 net passing yards from the late 70's - https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/197911040sea.htm
Ah - 6 sacks - forgot to add those in. That makes for 35 plays.Yep -- Seattle had only one first down all game. 11 punts -- 10 of those after a three-and-out.**
And the Seahawks went into that game favored by three. Then again, that was the 1979 Rams that got hot around mid-season, won a bad division at 9-7, and then made it to the Super Bowl. The Steelers won their fourth Super Bowl over that Rams team.
** Hmmm ... 29 plays (rushing att + passing att) ... ten three-and-outs would be 30 plays. Maybe some penalties accounted for the extra snaps?
EDIT: There's a YouTube video of highlights from that game -- November 4, 1979.
Kamara has had an injured foot for the past couple of weeks, and NO has had the benefit of not having to use him.Keeping Kamara fresh for the playoffs. It makes some sense not to use him on that last drive when the game was already out of reach. But no one could foresee 1 catch in 2 games.
