I would if I got a decent 2 for 1... b/c we have to start 3wr and I am hurting really bad at WR3.. I think his problem is Matt Ryan. Ryan has regressed so badly this year that the run game is being leaned on and working.. so I don't think it's going to change drastically anytime soon.
Ryan is averaging more yards per game and per pass attempt this year than in either '09 or '10.
I suppose there are two ways to look at this:Roddy White is dueor His struggles will continue as Ryan continues to spread the ball out/reverts to his prior career numbers.
As a former casino dealer and professional poker player "due theory" just makes me smile every time i hear about it.
Ah yes, "gambler's fallacy". But in point of fact, many players do indeed "hit their career numbers" - especially when little changes in the situation surrounding them. That's the thing that is so baffling about Roddy. Some examples of "explainable" situations (i.e. players "doing poorly"):1) CJ - got a big contract, was out of shape coming into the season because of hold out, etc.2) Mendenhall - injuries to the O-line, Ben playing well so they are passing more, etc.3) Many players - coming off injury, getting old, "lost a step", change in offensive philosophy/coach/OC, etc.In Roddy's case there has been very little of the above - very few changes (heck, even the target numbers are high) - but for some reason he isn't pulling down the catches and not scoring TDs. Hence the "he's due" theory - which I do buy....to an extent. I do think Atlanta has had issues with pass protection (especially interior o-line play) - but has had success running the ball. That combo has lead to lower output from Roddy (who has been hampered by some minor nagging injuries). I think they bye week will help in both.I still think Roddy is top 12 WR the rest of the way - especially in PPR.
