I am in a Yahoo league. I have the Jets defense. Our settings dont explicitly state that the Def gets credit for a special teams TD.

I thought it was standard that the special teams TD's were part of the Def.

You should get credit for the TD here.

I just checked my Yahoo league that does have punt/kick return TDs and it lists both return TD and punt/kick return TD. I'm thinking by return TD that means if one of your offensive players picks up a fumble and scores, you get the 6, but nothing for punt/kick return TDs.

You should get credit for the TD here.
That's for the offensive skill players, not the D/ST.For example, if you had Leon Washington AND the Jets D/ST in your lineup and Washington returns a kickoff for a TD, Washington would get credit but not your D/ST.

According to the scoring system you listed, the TD will not count for the D/ST ; only for the skill player.

I just checked my yahoo scoring.

There is a category called

Kick & Punt Returning (these are the two sub categories that apply to TD's)

Return Touchdowns

Offensive Fumble Return TD

These 2 are individual categories and they apply only to the player.

There is another category called

Team Defense (these are the two sub categories that apply to TD's)

Touchdown

Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdowns

These are team categories and apply to the D/ST

Based on what you listed, you should not get credit for the Jets Kick Return TD as you would need this scoring category in the list and it's not there.

Hope that helps.
