Self made animated YouTube videos (1 Viewer)

I remember a few years back that there was a site to create an animated video where you supplied the text that these two roughly drawn animated characters would speak to each other (kind of Fisher Price meets South Park).  I've done some Google searching and must not be entering in the right keywords or something because I can't find it.

It's for a school project so I can't use the Hitler's Bunker route.

Are you talking about Flash videos and newgrounds? They very much predate the modern youtube trend.
