Does anyone have any insight on or experience with VR Porn? I just read an article about a guy doing a test run and supposedly it is amazing!!

This is coming out this year and my prediction is that, for a period of time (maybe five years or so), it is going to destroy marriages and relationships on an unprecedented scale! As if it is not already easy enough to find chicks online, just think of the desperation that will ensue when women are tripping over themselves to grab one of the few men who will intelligently refuse to get sucked into this coming vortex of shamelessness and depravity.

I think it might actually go the other way and instead of wrecking marriages/relationships, might help them. There are a lot of couples out there who want to experiment or form relationships in the form of threesomes, groups, swinging, etc, but a lot of people can't handle the emotional insecurity that can come with it.

In a case like VR porn, you have eliminated a large degree of what people will consider "cheating" (some people will say it is but others would be more forgiving, saying that it's really just a form of glorified masturbation or fetish), and you have opened a door for couples to act out on the things they may have expressed to their partners that they want to explore but never knew how to go about it before or be able to handle it, emotionally.

 
The negative impact internet porn has had on individuals and our society as a whole is just beginning to be understood. VR porn is going to be the equivalent of going from coke to crack. You think theres a lot of 20 and 30-year old losers living with their parents now... just wait...

Only benefit I see is that it could help prevent civil war in China.

You think the average, healthy teenage male whacks it more today than they did pre-internet porn? I'd guess quantity is the same, quality is just much better. That's progress, like everything else.

The porn still needs to be shot with VR in mind. You can't watch just any old video on cardboard and get an immersive experience.

There are special youtube vids that are made for cardboard.

My wife gave me the green light on a sex robot whenever they come out. I'm guessing there might be something worth buying in 5-10 years. Her only stipulation is that it can't be better looking than her. I told her for all I care it can have another ##### on the face.

Think about the potential. The way technology is going these sex robots are going to better than having to deal with a wife or girlfriend. No schtick.
