THE FBG Fashion Thread :style: (1 Viewer)

Wait, you're saying a rubber band on the wrist is worse than the suspenders hanging down?J
Yes. Accessorising (sp?) with office supplies is far worse than wearing an article of clothing wrong. The suspenders are pretty horrible but not as bad as the rubber band.

I spent close to $180 on them but they're so damn comfortable.
What?I hate this look, BTW. I'm sure it's going to be in style soon, but I'm not ready for it.
It's in-style if you're a cross-country runner, I think...
 I live in NYC. I know things.
After I jacked up my knee and realized that I wasn't willing to change my eating and drinking habits despite not running anymore, I quickly made myself comfortable with the fact that there were certain things I was never going to be able to wear because of my expanding waistline. I never thought I'd have to fear wearing fashion trends because of the possibility of other body parts expanding, though. How many times a day does a ball just randomly pop out the bottom of those things?

I wear my 2xist briefs with these. It keeps my boys sorted. I don't suggest doing squats in the them. Tried working out my legs today and it was tough. Had to stick to the treadmill.

Oh, I believe you, I just won't be rushing out to get a pair anytime soon. Those things are shorter than my soccer shorts, which are above the knee as it is. I just can't imagine those things being comfortable.

You should try a pair on. You'll love them. Chicks dig em as well. I can get you 15% off the retail price since I'm friends with the store clerk. Let me know.

Does anyone here wear shorts (shorter than mid thigh?) The trend seems to be coming back. Something like this ? I wanted to get ahead of the trend so I picked up a pair at Barneys yesterday. I spent close to $180 on them but they're so damn comfortable. I guess that's the price you have to pay for style. They're not the best in the Summer b/c they're cashmere and sweat tends to build up. They should be gold on certain days in the Fall and Spring or when I'm just chilling out at the casa.
i knew it was you all along, Magnum :doublesixguns:

I could handle wearing those on vacation, to beach or some sorta gay pride event or something. But riding the subway in them? Going to the market or my kids' school? sweet jeebus.

Roman-style sandals seem to be coming into style.

Instead of flip-flops or other sandals.

The older I get, the more I realize I'm okay not being stylish. Because, frankly, a lot of styles flat out suck.

Were you "friends" with the store clerk before you bought these shorts or did you become "friends" after you bought them? Did he measure your inseam when you bought them?

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin?
Yes, we do have local creative types believe it or not. Not everybody just drinks beer and eats cheese all day.
Link?
Some slobs in attendance that night.http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk161/o...us/IMG_1023.jpg
In the interest of saving time and not creating another thread, please provide your ratings for these lovely ladies using your patented offdee rating scale. TIA. P.S. You have provided your rating scale on numerous occasions. But I have never seen you actually apply it to "subjects".

ETA- the one on the left shows the proper way to layer and I believe the one in the middle is rocking a black rubber band on her wrist.
BUMP- C'mon offdee let's see your rating scale in action.

Don't hold your breathe. I asked him to use it the day he was checking out dudes on his lunch break and he completely avoided answering me.

Yeah. I guess he's all talk

 she sure did, sport...and no, just met her. She gave me her number after she saw me prancing around the store in the shorts to make sure they were functional. Nut hugger shorts are :moneybag: Thinking of getting some suspenders added on. Should complete the look.

That's not why we're here. You must not be looking in the right place because I give my ratings and apply the scale pretty regularly. And like clockwork Shuke and SKribbles show up and tell me to get lost. :bye:

If you do, just remember to wear them slung down. Don't make the mistake of thinking suspenders are functional.

   Out of all the queer things I've seen in this thread, I was least prepared for this one. This takes me back to the first time I saw a chick with a #####.
:goodposting:
I meant in porno. Are men really wearing women's sandals? What is wrong with the men today? First, tight jeans. Now 'mandals' and short shorts? At this rate, our military will be staffed by transvestites by 2075.

That's fine that you have done it before. But, let's see it done with a photo and examples you provided. I'm trying to learn something here.I'll get you started. IMO the one on the right is the least attractive of the three women in the photo you provided.

Now, it is your turn.

As for your "That's not why we're here" comment, speak for yourself GB. This thread sucked (imo) until you posted that photo!

Guys talking about fashion ZZZZZZZZZ!
