My experience has been that people get more conservative fiscally, when they have more money. I am pretty sure if you polled the 40-somethings on these forums, you would find that is the case.

Having a discussion with someone who believes most billionaires are conservatives.....to me, this is like deciding on a route for our ship to take, and one of us is a flat earther.

I was actually countering the words about voting Democrat to stand up for the poor and middle class - that's a faux belief. 

Remember, Democrats were the KKK, they were the Jim Crowe, the ones fighting tooth and nail against civil rights. They fought decades against it - leopards don't lose their spots. Look no further than big cities controlled for decades by Democrats and what's the poverty rate? 

Man they should be mecca's of beaming light for equality and progress and wealth and safety and instead they lead the nation in many negative categories
