Stronger, maybe...Better or more unique? No.

I don't find Dia's voice that unique. It's different compared to the contestants she is against, but her voice is not that unique among a lot of indie folk singers.

Are they doing it that way? I guess probably, but who knows because they probably have all 4 perform a song Id guess. But they might announce some kind of vote right from the start, knockout whoever got the least votes, then halfway thru knock the 3rd place off. Dont know. Surprised its only an hour long finale.For me, Bev is the clear benchwarmer of the 4

Pop/Rock is different from musical theater/opera stuff, where fat ladies are the norm.Beverly looks the part of a rocker, but I don't think a middle-aged female newcomer will be a hit with most consumers. Especially when they have 3 younger, more attractive singers to chose from.

I dont get what theyre doing with these duets tonight. They couldve pick great artists and great songs, but they didnt. Now I thought Stevie Nicks didnt sound too good, but at least she kind of fills both of those catergories. I switched back to NBC after they announced the song with Bev, and had no idea what song it was or who the guy was/what bands he's from, and they had Nicci sing a song I think most people hope they never hear again. I couldnt name a Miranda Lambert song if my life depended on it either.

They shouldve went with classic, pre-90's songs in all cases, with recognizable and famous artists.

Dia didn't get the most votes ... Javier did. The itunes thing is a part of voting and she beat him there. But more people either texted in or voted online for Javier.

Something I just read this morning and thought I should pass along...apparently Universal Republic has the option to sign any other contestant on The Voice to a record deal within 30 days of the show ending. You have to think that with Dia's iTunes success they have to be seriously considering signing her.
