I went out to cut the grass today and discovered these holes in my backyard. What do I have? Groundhog? Mole? Gopher? Do I need to hire Carl Spackler?

a regular mowing schedule!!!
ya filthy animal!!
Yeah, it is a little big for voles, and I do not really see any tunneling around the yard. Here are the holes with my size 13s in the pic.Groundhog, or possibly gopher. Too big for voles. Can you put something else in the picture for scale?
Or a pickleball court.A squirrel is putting in a fence and those are the first two post holes.
That would be cool. You have a python.
He'll have to answer to my HOA...we are not permitted to have fences.A squirrel is putting in a fence and those are the first two post holes.
Gopher or skunk.Yeah, it is a little big for voles, and I do not really see any tunneling around the yard. Here are the holes with my size 13s in the pic.Groundhog, or possibly gopher. Too big for voles. Can you put something else in the picture for scale?
My anaconda don’t want noneYou have a python.
Skunks?
Definitely voles.
I have a company do preventative grub control every year. The application was a month ago.Skunks?
If it is skunks you have a grub/insect problem in the soil. Pretty easy to fix.

I've had voles several times, and that's what their holes looked like. I have used traps (which are brutal) and castor oil. The castor oil worked great, but was expensive. Like $40 a gallon. I used several gallons on my 3/4 acre yard.Definitely voles.
how do you tell the difference between moles, voles and gophers?
I would think I would see more tunneling around the area/yard if it were voles.I've had voles several times, and that's what their holes looked like. Peyton Manning does get around.Oooh...after watching a YouTube video, it may be voles...
You never know, maybe a family of them got tired of the heat and headed north.Low probability in NE Ohio
whoa, whoa, let's keep it PG in here, fella. You have a python.
Skunk.Found this next to one of the holes today. I am also now seeing several smaller areas show up where the grass/dirt is scraped away. This definitely has to be something trying to get to grubs, worms, insects, or whatever is living in my lawn.
If there‘s a bunch of those scraped areas, it could be crows going after grubs. I’ve seen them destroy lawns.Found this next to one of the holes today.
