You've got the Steelers seeded differently in each of the two rounds in which you list them, and somehow neither of those seeds is correct.[kentuckyfriedmovie] Now..... twy again. This time.... with FEEWING...... [/kentuckyfriedmovie]

I am wondering if anyone thinks the Giants can beat the Falcons at home (I'd say very doable) and then the Pack at Lambeau (tough).

What if:

1. GB bye

2. SF bye

3. Saints > 6. Lions

4. NYG > 5. Falcons.

1. NE bye

2. Bal bye

3. Hou < 6. Cin

4. Den > 5. Pit

-----------------------

1. GB < 4. NYG

2. SF < 3. Saints

1. NE > 6. Cin

2. Bal > 4. Den

-------------------------

3. Saints > 4. NYG

2. Bal > 1. NE

-------------------------

SB = Baltimore Ravens vs New Orleans Saints in Indy.

Does any team have a more difficult road to the Super Bowl than the Broncos? (assume the improbable) Steelers, Ravens, Patriots

So a lot of you are saying Saints and Ravens Super Bowl. I can see that. But as a Packers fan I want to say Packers and Ravens/Pats in the Super Bowl. Would be fun to see a Brady and Rodgers shoot out.

Saints over the Packers in the middle of winter....outside. ...on grass?

Hard to go against the Packers in that scenario.

Lions: Saints, Packers, Patriots
There would have to be a team in the middle.Saints, Packers, 49ers, Patriots
Oh yeah, thanks. Guess I just thought of 49ers as a walkover compared to the other three teams
Steelers, Ravens, Patriots, Packers*vs.Saints, Packers, 49ers, PatriotsSeems pretty close to me. They'd share two matches, then it's Steelers, Ravensvs.Saints, 49ersToo close to call IMO, but an injured Steelers team is probably weaker than the 49ers. FWIW, I'm calling it - Broncos beat Steelers and the Bengals beat the Texans and Patriots.

Wild Card Weekend:

#5 Falcons over #4 Giants (going against the grain here as Falcons playing at Giants in January is sketchy, but gut feel that Giants are due for a letdown, and the Falcons have as many playmakers on offence as the Giants.)

#3 Saints over #6 Lions (Lions had a great season. But even with the uncoverable Megatron, it ends Wildcard weekend by the Lions not being able to stay up with NO's at-will point scoring)

#6 Bengals over #3 Texans (Foster's running is better than Benson's, but the real difference is that Dalton's passing is much, much better than Yates's.)

#5 Steelers over #4 Broncos (Upset will NOT be happening here)

Divisional Round:

#1 Packers over #5 Falcons

#3 Saints over #2 49ers (I am SOOOOO close to flipping this, but I think Brees's storybook season continues on into the Conference Championship)

#1 Patriots over #6 Bengals

#2 Ravens over #5 Steelers

#1 Patriots over #2 Ravens

#1 Packers over #3 Saints

Packers over Patriots -- it's not often that both #1 seeds get through. This year, I think they do.

It will never happen, but it will be fun to watch. In reality I think we are going to see a Super Bowl rematch.

Ka-Ching! Everything same except Steelers over Pats. Just don't see how they can keep up with Ben hobbling around back there and Brady knows how to play vs. the Steeler defense

Packers are the best team in the NFL. So they coast to the title.

My upset of Denver over the Steelers is because the Steelers are so hurt at this time. Big Ben having a set back, no Mendenhall, plus I think Tebow steps up this game.

The team that I think is very overrated is the Patriots. Who have they beat this year that is a playoff team other than Denver? They had a very easy schedule this year.

I wonder if a rematch with Denver and the way Denver ran on them, before the turnovers could happen in NE?

everyone seems to like NO in a road game on grass...not me:

Wild Card Weekend:

#5 Falcons @ #4 Giants

#6 Lions @ #3 Saints

#6 Bengals @ #3 Texans

#5 Steelers @ #4 Broncos

Divisional Round:

#4 Giants @ #1 Packers

#3 Saints @ #2 49ers

#2 49ers @ #1 Packers

Interesting that a lot of people have the Patriots in the Super Bowl, but I am the only one to pick them to win.

Here's what I like about the Patriots. The following is the ranking of all playoff teams by yards allowed per point. (total yards allowed / total points allowed)

nwe 19.26

pit 18.84

bal 17.14

hou 16.51

cin 15.76

den 14.21

sfo 22.88

gnb 18.90

nor 17.37

det 15.59

atl 15.47

nyg 14.82

Over the past 12 years, teams ranked #1 in their conference in YAPP, that also had a franchise QB won their conference 6/8 times. Those teams were:

2010 pit 19.09

2010 gnb 20.60

2007 sdg 18.04

2005 ind 19.89

2004 nwe 19.12

2003 nwe 19.60

2001 nwe 19.68

1999 stl 19.41

Only 2007 sdg and 2005 ind failed to win their conference. Of the 6 that won their conference, 5 won the super bowl. The loser was 2010 pit, who lost to another team that was on the list, so someone had to lose.

Also, nwe won the Super Bowl every time they led the AFC in YAPP under Tom Brady. They lead the AFC again this year.

Every year there the NFL playoffs seem to be unpredictable, that's why I love the sport.

I think the Patriots will beat the Steelers at home in the divisional round.

I think the Steelers will not go all the way due to their difficulty at home.

Wild Card Weekend:

What I find interesting is that 5 of the last 6 Super Bowls have featured a team who played on WC weekend, and yet virtually no one (including myself) is picking one of those teams coming out of the conference championships.

Eh, I'm going to change my bracket again, after digging into the Saints home/road splits. I say the Packers knock them off in the NFC title game.

What the hell, I'll give it a shot, even though I am sure I will be way off (which is why I stick to FF, which I do well at, instead of betting point spreads  ):
