This could be the most suspect group of WRs ever rostered on a FF team. He literally could average only 5 points per week from his entire starting corps.

My guess is they traded their only useful players away for a lot of picks. Toby Gerhart, Montario Hardesty, Ben Tate, Dexter McCluster, Emmanuel Sanders, Taylor Price, Jermaine Gresham, Jordan Shipley, Mardy Gilyard and Deji Karim are all rookies.

My team got this DYNASTY review from the FBG rate my team.

I thought it was funny as hell.

Overview:

Wait. Are you serious?

You did your research. You put your years of experience to work. And this --- THIS --- is the team you ended up with? How is that even possible? Did you think this was a points-per-suck league?

To call this the

Worst.

Team.

Ever.

would forever cheapen those three words.

And what in the world is "ha3" supposed to be anyway?

You know, normally I like this job. I get to sit here and assess people's fantasy teams. It's fun. I try to help them out. I learn from them and hopefully they learn a little from me. But then someone like you comes along and ruins it. WHY ARE YOU WASTING MY TIME WITH THIS TEAM??! I could be using these electrons and milliseconds to rate the team of someone who cares. Someone with a chance. But that ain't you, buddy, that's for sure.

I wonder how many of these owners will be dropping their teams after the season due to "personal reasons?"

I also play in the league with this owner and yes he not only added a lot of rookies this year and should have the first pick in 2011 but he should also have another 2011 top 5 plus another later first and a bunch on 2nds.

Not sure the reason from the original poster but teams that regularly get the top pick in a dynasty should hope those players never leave. Replacing them with new owners is often hard.

Meh, it is during a dead time of the year and is better than the endless, thinly-veiled "Who do I keep" threads between two RBs who have little, to nothing in common with one another.

Probably would be more interesting for some of us multi leaguers to post our worst team and breakdown the poor decisions that got us there (learning tool), but this does have some entertainmnt value at least.

They have the 1st pick in the draft this year. They traded away their 1st next year in order to move up from 2nd pick to 1st pick this year. It was easy to see how certain teams stay at the bottom.

I may just be used to 16 team lineups, but this team seems to be in good shape for the future. They must've made some good trades this offseason. The core players bolded plus Mathews and Bryant make a nice team for the future.

Well i have to defend the guys team on top...I am in the same league and he hit reset on his team. He has 5 1st round picks and a stack of 2nds and 3rds so next year his team won't be that bad.

:goodposting: The above is a perfect example of how to rebuild a dynasty team - that is, keep a core and draft around it. All that team has to do is stay the course, maybe work the WW to snag an undervalued veteran WR or two in the next year or so and they'll be on the way to winning championships.

I think some of the other teams in this thread (especially those following the "trade 'em all for picks" theory) are going about rebuilding the wrong way.

In dynasty you need to keep a core to build around. Rookie picks are over-valued, especially at this time of year. Just because you have 3 or 4 first round rookie picks doesn't mean much. I realize the whole "throw enough stuff at the wall - maybe some sticks" - but after about the top 3-5 rookie picks, most of the players simply don't "stick". For every ADP or Chris Johnson, there are plenty of Marshawn Lynch, Kenny Irons, Reggie Bush, Chris Perry, Tatum Bell, Laurence Maroney, etc. etc. - guys that will keep you mired in mediocrity.

That is true but consider this...I have stocked up on 2011 picks in multiple leagues at what was for the most part very cheap prices. Come 2011 draft time, there is no provision saying I can't trade every one of those picks for veteran talent. I look at it like the stock market. I am buying in a year ahead of peak value at a cheap price, then I have some good options when the time is right.

AT least someone sees this is the worst team mentioned. He added hass, Caddy, Ricky, Housh, Holt and shockey a few weeks ago. Cost him Chad henne, 3.11, 4.5, 2nd next, Damien Williams, and Earl Bennett. He traded his 1st rounde next yearr to get the picks(11 and 14) where he took Damien Williams and Charlie Whitehurst back on the NFL draft day. At least most of these teams listed have some young players to build around. Shawn Nelson and the PK is it here. He is a fantasy tard for sure. Not worried about him leaving as the league has gone on for 14 years now but there is a reason he has the 3rd worst record of all time and the 2nd lowest playoff appearnaces(3). Amazing as it seems last year was the lowest finish ever for this team with a 3rd place spot(for a pick he did not own). Lots of 4th worst as next level.

:goodposting: In 2006 Deuce was RB8 and Fred Taylor was still a top 20 RB. From 2008, Turner was a stud. Your QBs are a little weak (although many thought Leinart was going to be a stud). Chambers was a top 10 WR in 2005 (as was Boldin), then slipped, but was still a viable WR3 for a couple years. Boldin had 1200 receiving yards in '06 and was a viable WR2 in 06, 07 and 08 (in 08 he was WR8 - making him a #1). Mason was also decent over that span. Tony G is as good as it gets this side of Gates at TE. Sorry, this team was hardly a "mess". Weak at 1 position (QB)? Yes - a mess, certainly not. On the contrary, you took over a nice blend of veterans with some younger talent sprinkled in.

yeah I traded for Boldin, Deuce and Taylor...this was at season's end 2006, still only won 2 games...

12 team league, this team lost every single game of the 2009 season and first round loss in the consolidation play off game. The team did lots of trades toward the end of season, he now gets 1.01, 1.02, 1.08, 2.01 pick of the 2010 rookie draft.

I may just be used to 16 team lineups, but this team seems to be in good shape for the future. They must've made some good trades this offseason. The core players bolded plus Mathews and Bryant make a nice team for the future.
I would take this team, solid squad... DBowe, Holmes, Boldin is a solid wr group, youth at RB, the #1 dynasty QB....and a solid defense for years to boot. I have to ask you my friend, what does your teamlook like ?

THis team a person could take from 0 wins to the championship and agree with a solid squad. Edwards is a fine #4 WR also. Give me Bryant and Matthews with the top 2 picks. Liking it alot
