my guess would be a Redskin fan if you didn't mind her officiating this weekend. she gave the nfl is rigged crowd a lot to work with. Can't stand women sports announcers, but didn't mind Sarah officiatingthe game I was watching on Sunday at all. Maybe I'm not sexist.
1) No better, no worse then male announcers. The best of the best may be a dude, then again they represent 95+% of all announcers so of course they are. As an aside: if listening to Jon Gruden fall all over himself complimenting every single player & coach who appears on camera doesn't make you want to jam an ice-pick in your ear then you may need to get your ears checked. Seriously he may be worse than Theisman.1) Can't stand women sports announcers, 2) but didn't mind Sarah officiating the game I was watching on Sunday at all. 3) Maybe I'm not sexist.
Racism exists. This article is such a breath of fresh air.
This article (more explicitly Trask's statements) should also be mandatory reading for every minority, (that feels slighted, or tries to use their minority "stigma??" as a crutch in certain social situations) or people that feel they are not treated fairly or perhaps unjustly for a variety of reasons.
Finally a voice of reason in this world concerning inequality...or better yet, "perceived inequality".
Its great, especially coming from a woman, that has held a powerful position.
One of her statements reads "If one wants to be considered without regard to gender, then one should not consider one’s gender."
We could also very easily replace the word "gender" in that statement with the word "race".
But unfortunately if a similar article did, it would most likely not gather any attention at all.
Its too bad this type of article gets no more press than it does.
Maybe when she releases her book, it will garner some attention.
There are a ton of political figures and leaders that have a lot to learn from this woman and her views. (at least on this matter)

Could you provide some examples of men who got suspended for making a similar call?I do not care if you are man or woman, that was such a terrible call, that man or woman should be suspended from their job based off the absurdity of the call alone. Men and women make mistakes, absolving a man or woman from their mistakes because they are man or woman is also sexist.
This official made a terrible call, the sexists ones care about the sex of the person who made it, an unsexist person wants equal punishment for that official after a terrible call by that official.
What this article by a white corporate executive pre-supposes is... maybe they are?Racism exists.
Sexism exists.
Both of these things have been extensively studied.
They're not the fault of minorities and women.
I don't think the article by Trask particularly implies that women are at fault for creating sexism. But there is an undertone of Randian privileged objectivism that is (as usual) pretty dismissive of the realities of our society. What this article by a white corporate executive pre-supposes is... maybe they are?
Looks like she badly blew a call affecting possession in a close game. That's her job, she blew it.so is she a former pro wrestling official?
