What is the board's opinion of this guy?

The buzz coming out of camp is huge, but he seems to be pegged as the starting strongside LB rather than the weakside and there is a question about sub-package snaps. I struggle to believe that he is not one of the two most talented LBs on that roster but not being a 3-down guy would limit his upside.

How do people view his prospects for this year? Is he a potential top 20 finisher, or is he just an overhyped LB3/4?

he'll be valuable in big play IDP scoring, i think. not many opportunities for tackles (Beason is pretty reliable in the middle) for him, i think. Spags is their Def Coordinator, right? His defenses rely on getting pressure on the opposing team - typically on the front 4 though - so I expect him to be aggressive. JPP is a question mark now, so Kennard could be asked to step up big time.

I agree that in big play leagues he has a lot more value than balanced leagues. I will be targeting him but my league is 8pts per sack vs 1 pt per tackle.

Agree with the Board on this one. He showed he can play, and a knack for rushing the passer, in his opportunities last year. I think he is a LB4 in tackle heavy (SLB, still some question about role, etc.).

Very similar situation to Preston Brown. Talent, pedigree and effort is all there. Might be limited by position and snaps early, but things change quickly..
