Roverkid update: (TL; DR version--not good).
She's seeing a sports medicine concussion specialist, a sports nutritionist and a neuropsychologist. Post-concussion symptoms haven't changed. She has lost 16 lbs from the 108 she was at when she got the concussion. The nutritionist believes that this has morphed from weight loss due to nausea as a symptom of the concussion to a full-blown eating disorder, and wants her to go to a residential treatment program. She also thinks that her weight loss and nutrition issues are contributing to her (non)recovery from the concussion. She has appointments with all three providers next week, and we'll make a decision on what to do after that.
In the meantime, she's still living with me full time, going to online school, and is generally depressed. She's taking a class on Saturday in Seattle that is a prerequisite to a music program that our friend recommended to us (he's a professional musician). We're also scheduled for a spring break trip to NYC in April, and taking a friend of hers with us.
I'm buried at work and am just about at my saturation point. Something needs to give. Talked to my partner today about bringing on another attorney to help with some work, even if it's on a part-time contract basis.
