Well not really an option.
Fly into ORD. get Rental Car, going to Wrigley. Then South Bend.

As you drive from O'Hare into the city, exit at Irving Park Road. Take a left to head east on Irving Park Road. A couple miles east, there's a free remote lot at Irving & Rockwell. Take shuttle bus.

Crap. Other option is to park somewhere along Irving Park Road—find a side street with no permit requirement—and take the 80 bus to Clark Street (that'll drop you about 5 block away from stadium). Farther west you park, higher the odds parking is non-permit.This does not include Friday Afternoon Games
