2QB league FA blocking strategy (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Opponent currently has Newton listed to start in our matchup this week. He has no options on the bench due to bye weeks. Only starters available on the wire are Anderson and Keenum - would you consider it legitimate or a #### move to:

- drop my kicker, pick up Anderson

- drop Anderson, pick up Keenum

- drop Keenum, pick up another kicker

- watch him get a zero as all QB options are now on waivers as opposed to free agents?

While I think its a bit of a #### move, actually more than a bit, if the rules allow it, it is also a completely legit one.

Usually you have to roster players for 24 hours if you want to have them lock, I know on NFL.com if you add and then drop immediately they are still free agents. I know this because I tried that last year haha. But if it works is do it

You can't do all of those moves. If you Add and Drop same-day the player is a FA not on Waivers.

It's not a "d*** move" at all- it is basic H2H strategy. My opponent also has Newton and while there are other FA QBs I picked up Anderson and I plan to drop him for Prescott tomorrow at 1:10 if my opponent does not pick up a different FA in time for the 1:00 games.
