Rep. Steve Scalise, multiple aides shot at Congressional baseball practice (2 Viewers)

Gunman into custody.  Sounds like a single gunman

appeared to be a white male middle aged according to Rep Mo Brooks from Alabama on CNN

Shocking that all the comments at Foxnews are positive this is an attack from an Obama-Clinton crazy liberal with absolutely no info on the shooter.
No ####. Desantis is saying, however, that a man was wandering around the field and apparently asking if there were "democrats or republicans" on the field.

Hope the reports are right that the gunman is either dead or in custody and that everyone injured makes it.

I'm currently on lockdown in a daycare about a block away. Standing in the hallway with kid.

Hope for the best for everyone involved.

Why wait for facts when you can get a head start on liberal bashing?
I'm letting some time pass before going into full "this is what happens when the left does plays in the park where Republican politicians get murdered or hold up bloody heads of GOP politicians"

So awful.  And really close to where I used to live.

Random nut or political nut?
It can be both. A lot of the "political" shootings have been committed by people with histories or evidence of mental illness that attach onto politics as a reason to try to kill people.

The people shot were all republicans...May be something to that.
No, there's nothing to that. That's the ####### point. There's nothing to it until there is. And the speculation between now and then is irresponsible partisan garbage. Is this really where we're at? 6 minutes into an active shooter where people are *might be dead we're already angling for political real-estate? Garbage.

Stat has a point IMO.  This stuff being normalized does make it more likely that some crazy guy takes the idea and runs with it.

Well, not Stat.  That guy's a useless hack who stayed quiet for eight years while people were drawing scopes over Obama or using his image for target practice.  But other people who say the same thing have a point.

Probably not though. Apparently violent video games does not turn you into a serial killer afterall.

Says members of the same forum which erroneously speculated on pretty much every major act of violence in the United States during the Obama administration being the work of the Tea Party, tax protestors, etc.

Capital police seem to be the heroes here. Rand Paul saying if they weren't on site, it would have been a massacre.

There might also be an argument fo rmagazine capacity restrictions in there somewhere
I'm sure there will be all sorts of arguments about everything concerning guns, banning them in Washington, background checks and wearing white after Memorial Day.
