Who will run the fastest 40 at the combine and just how much should anything really be put into it?
By the way the fastest 40 ever ran was a 4.12 by Christian Coleman the 60m WR holder and the worlds top 100m sprinter right now.
Tyreek Hill never ran a 4.22 like John Ross, but he's obviously a lot faster than Ross.

There has been about 20 Olympic sprinters on NFL rosters over the years, so speed is to be expected.
