Didn't see a Tom Steyer thread.  Heard him interviewed on NPR a couple of weeks ago, and liked what I heard.  Get rid of dark money funding and empower climate justice.

His 5 'rights':

1. The right to health

2. The right to an equal vote

3. The right to clean air and clean water

4. The right to learn

5. The right to a living wage

I'm kind of puzzled why he hasn't done very well.  What am I missing?

When asked what he is going to do about the polling that shows 60% of the country thinks the economy is doing well for them (I believe by a left wing reporter lady) he said Trump lied about that. Then he told her she was defending Trump.

ETA: ABCs Martha Raddatz.

No one knows who he is. He kind of jumped in due to having money, but he has not really been a national name, just a rich hedge fund guy that is not as terrible as most other rich hedge fund guys. I was wondering if this sort of quixotic attempt at the presidency isn't just to get his name out there more as "a serious politics guy" for a California position later. I would not be surprised if he runs for Kamala Harris's Senate seat or tries to get in line for Feinstein's seat (if someone ever finds her phylactery).
