I'm watching NFL Network today, and they announced that the countdown of the Top 100 Players of 2020 will begin on Sunday, July 26th.  My guess is that since he was MVP last year, Lamar Jackson will be #1 this year.  But that's my guess.  Who does everyone else say is going to be #1?

 
Is this one of those things where they give you 20 players a week for five weeks?  Who has time for that kind of stuff?  I don't even have time or patients to listen to the talking head and sit through an hour long show.  They should just post the list on NFL.com and let us read and consume it at our own pace, which is quicker than anything they could do on tv.

Joke of a list and it will be Lamar number 1

What are bums like Gurley and Jimmy G doing within 20 spots of this list?

Also find it funny that Lamar will be overrated at 1--a standing that largely comes from his team whose two "best at their position" players in Stanley and Humphrey are criminally disrespected (I mean Humphrey is one spot above Josh freaking Allen and 33 spots behind a far, far worse CB on his own team in Peters)

I get Diggs is talented but he hasn't accomplished jack#### in his career to be above Adams, OBJ or even KA

DK lol--3rd best rookie WR last year and rated 1st and above a studs like Allen Robinson (who is way too low), as well as Kupp and Sutton/Thielen (the guy who outproduced Diggs every year) types who didn't even make the list and one spot above the best RT in the game

For some reason DTs are still disrespected: Fletcher Cox and Chris Jones are 10-15 spots too low--probably Grady Jarrett as well

Hope at the very least seeing this kind of idiocy lets people see that players' opinions on the game/teams/other players are just as flawed and stupid as fans'

So many times you hear that as justification to pump/dock a player

If you polled NBA players I bet you'd find them believing Iverson should be in the GOAT conversation and Duncan is a scrub

Players are just as biased as fans--if not more

No NFL players are idiots just like fans

Ask Mike Vrabel or Dean Pees if Lamar is better than Mahomes. They found out the hard way who the real far and away best player in football is

Everyone knows Mahomes is great QB and likely has a HOF career ahead of him. Not sure why you feel the need to disrespect Lamar like that.

The list is probably wrong but people are acting like giving the top spot to the reigning MVP who led his team to the #1 seed while leading the league in passing TDs is some great insult to Mahomes.

The list is a little confusing (to me anyway) is this ranking supposed to be for what they think will happen in the 2020 season or it a listing of the best players from the 2019 season.

If it’s the latter I agree with your take as well. I’m not sure why so many are upset that the guy who won the MVP last season ended up #1 on the list.
