*** 2025 Pittsburgh Steelers: TJ Watt signs a 3 year, $123 million deal

I don't think Allen has signed anywhere. Likely opining because Williams retired, but it won't matter. Not only has he said openly he doesn't want to play in Pittsburgh, he's probably among the worst blocking WRs in the league. Since that's clearly a far bigger deal than it should be to...

I could see that happening, yeah.

I feel confident enough T.J. likely has two years of high-level play left in him, and beyond that it's a crapshoot. Good for him. That's a freakin' bag. So, "team wins on term, T.J. wins on cash"? Fair enough. Not my money, and I maybe wouldn't have done it at his age, but it's not like it's...

    Handcuff vs. No Handcuff

I've never really went out of my way to 'cuff. If it works out value-wise, fine. If not? Whateverrrr. I've certainly hit a couple of homeruns "Chasing Coach X's Running Game" (Olandis Gary and Mike Anderson most memorably), but overall it's been a pretty mixed bag.

I dont buy that. An older more broke down Von Miller pulled a 2nd and third for, like, half a season IIRC. A team will have to pay him, which would lessen the return, but he'd pull a 1st. Top 15? Of course not, but a first. Buffalo would be nuts not to do it, honestly. In my mind...

Ramsey already had years left on his contract when he was acquired. I think he is a UFA in '28 Jonuu was extended for a year, yes.

I imagined this with a condescending scarf flourish at the end. Took it from a 10 to a 12.

If you were including me in that group of "people", I at least am certainly not viewing this as Tomlin's "last gasp." Earlier I merely opined that I don't think it's totally nuts to think maybe they'd choose to move on (either/both sides) at the end of his current deal if he hasn't managed to...

Did not have this guy on my Bingo card of "dead comedians I'm going to hear mentioned at some point today." Gong Show legend, that one.

    TE Jonnu Smith, PIT

How dare you!? He's gonna get at least 4 backwards pitchouts a game on jet sweeps that used to be ear marked for Cordarelle Patterson.

Sure looks that way. :-| Also looks sorta like Mikey is just going out and getting players that have smoked him in the past on other teams. Ramsey on the Jags, Rodgers knocking him off in the SB, DK in that one game in 2023 (not sure on Smith.) :geek:

    TE Pat Freiermuth, PIT

He's a core STer, though. And cheap. He could get shifted full-time to "FB" and just get used on teams/the handful of times a month they may run a play with a true FB.
