Lets be honest, dropping Etienne shouldn't feel like a bad thing after the season he has had. Enjoy the catharsis!
But I agree, Njoku being listed as Questionable on the apps is frustrating. Wish teams would be more proactive, but I guess its a tactical choice and they have little incentive to...
Strongly considering dropping in my best ball league that doesn’t have IR slots. Allen is available. I’m not even sure Allen is the pickup, but the vibes are off with Breece and I’m becoming more and more sure the Jets are slow rolling a shut-down.
My 2 cents:
Even though Rodgers hasn't been playing well, he's known to be a competent QB, which you can't say for his previous QBs. That, plus heavy incentives from the staff to extract value from Rodgers to hopefully save their jobs, means emphasis on the passing game beyond the dumpoffs and...
I'm not sure the 9ers are going to have a fantastic run these final few weeks, but I did my part in this grand experiment and threw a bunch of FAAB at him. I don't feel great starting him with so much uncertainty, but if everything looks good next week, the Rams should be a juicy matchup.
I had a dream that Will Lutz went 17 for 20 on field goals tonight. So if you're hoping for a miracle out of a kicker, maybe take some comfort in a potential prophetic vision?
Of course, I had that dream because I'm playing AGAINST Lutz, so for my sake I hope it's nothing!
Philly D looked great, but the Panthers have been playing up to their competition in scrappy games. Not gonna have much better on the wire at this point though. Hoping some playoff-hopefuls with D/ST's on bye drop so I can scoop, as I've got my spot secured.
I don't think Tracy is going to lose any touches, but if the team is in a full collapse I think his upside is limited. They seem averse to throwing it to him too so his PPR upside is also a bit capped, though if the QB play is awful and they start checking down more to just move the ball I think...
Full PPR;
DJ Moore @ Det
vs
Garrett Wilson vs Sea
*Bonus Round*
David Njoku @ Den
vs
Hunter Henry vs Ind , Sam LaPorta vs Chi , Zach Ertz vs Ten (LaPorta on bench, others on wire)
Down by ~14 with the Texans D to go. Not going to get too excited but I’m just glad to have a shot.
In my casual best ball league, I need Mixon or Collins to score more than 12 points, which is very doable.
I do have plenty of WR help- Higgins is my primary backup WR when healthy, and I’ve been flexing Jennings. In a pinch I’m fine flexing a TE as I’m carrying Njoku and Hock.
That said, I decided not to make the trade. Monty and Mixon aren’t far enough apart in my evaluation to justify giving up...
Adding to the agreement- they gave him a contract because they know he’s their guy for the next couple years. They shouldn’t feel the pressure to see what they have elsewhere or preserve his trade value. If anything, if they choose to roll over for the tank, Kamara is in a good spot to benefit...
Felt lucky being able to grab Moody off waivers to replace Butker. Even with the misses, he gave me 9 points last week. Unless they make a hasty roster move, I expect he'll be just fine, unless @Down Under did the research and can attest that Moody is washed
You can definitely argue the path to success, and having one good showing is encouraging, but I agree with kyoun1e here: we know who MVS is, and I would not put "reliable" in his list of descriptors. A decent boom/bust play if your only alternative is someone like Rashad Bateman or something...
