Vernon should probably have at least one above average season before he starts running his yap.
This guy once talked smack after catching a pass in the waning minutes of a game, where his team was down by three TD's.
Just for reference Tomlinson caught 100 passes in 2003, on a team that ran the ball WAY more than the Saints will EVER do under Sean Payton. And the QB who threw all those passes to Tomlinson is the same guy who's currently throwing passes to Bush. Just sayin'
He's not. Not that he's great or anything, but he's very dependable. Kind of small, kind of slow, but he always gets open and rarely if ever drops the ball. The Welker comparison is a good one.Could be a nice sneaky play if you're in a PPR league and desperately need somebody to fill in for a...
The Saints defense actually isn't that bad.....I mean, they were terrible against Washington, but they had 4 starters and several key role players out. They were decent against Denver, held Cutler under 300 and the Broncos under 100 rushing yards as a team. The 34 points isn't as bad as it looks...
Brown and Nesbit's backups (Zach Strief and Carl Nicks) are pretty solid.
Brown used to be a much better player. I don't know what's up with him now but he wasn't too good last year and hasn't been this year either. Nesbit has been looking like the weak link in the line since the preseason and...
The guy makes plays.
I don't know what Sean Payton's hangup is with this guy but every time he's on the field he does something good. At some point you have to go with the guy who produces on the field, right?
Disclaimer: I haven't won this week yet but I fully expect to once a minor scoring adjustment is made:
Brees
R. Bush
M. Lynch
Calvin Johnson
L. Evans
Bryant Johnson
B. Watson
Jeff Reed
IDP: Abraham, Freeney, Tanard Jackson, McGee
I would've lost by 30 if my opponent had started Ronnie...
Miller is a very good receiver and Brees does love to throw the ball over the middle. He should put up significant numbers.
Campbell is decent but made of glass. I don't think since the Saints signed him that he's played two consecutive games without getting hurt. IMO he's still a non-factor...
Probably too early for this but Reggie is on pace to break Marshall Faulk's single-season record for total yards from scrimmage. Faulk had 2429, Reggie is on pace for 2437.
He hasn't shown the capability to learn from his mistakes. He keeps doing the same thing over and over, and it keeps failing over and over.I can only draw two conclusions from this:A) He is stupid, on a child-like level.B) He is too selfish/arrogant to understand that he is a major part of the...
\ed The Saints' run blocking is indeed pathetic.HOWEVER....Pierre is a finesse back and has never shown the ability to get the tough yardage. Meanwhile, Payton has a player over on the sideline who has repeatedly shown the ability to do just that even with crappy blocking and refuses to put him...
Yep.I may not watch another Saints game this season. The mere sight of Payton's face makes me want to throw up. Just like Haslett. I wouldn't be surprised if he's lost half the team already.
