I loved the Bear. The cousin early on does seem like a cartoon character. I wondered about the size of the staff and having two dishwashers for a struggling sandwich shop.
Agree about Old Man.
Japandroids-celebration rock. I like this. It kind of borders on cheesy at times and doesn't sound like a puck band. so I checked RA's list and the song Wet hair is on the Post Nothing album, which is described as more raw. Looking forward to coming back to these guys.
agree with this. Great show. Best thing I've seen in a long time.
Mare of Easttown. If I knew it was a detective in small town show wouldn't have bothered. quit after 2 episodes.
Fxxxed up- chemistry of the common life. One of the best sounding albums I've listened to. The problem is the vocals are awful. too bad.
found a lot of bands that I'd turn up if I heard them on the radio but wouldn't go to the mall and buy their stuff, if we still did that. kinda like Aerosmith.
Misfits- walk among us. Only took a couple of listens to know that this is for me. All the woh oh ohhs work. My indigo girl/sara mclachlan loving girl friend was caught dancing to astro zombies.
Listened to 17 of top 25.
it's been a couple weeks since I found a band that really clicked so I doubled back to wire. The songs are quick it was tough to get hooked. It took a few listens but it's starting to sink in, frustrating when a song gets going and than ends. There will be many more listens. Too early to...
If Phantom Menace was broken up in parts and shown weekly people probably would've liked it more. OBwan isn't much better. Having someone to care about is the only difference between the two.
I can see it. I thought I was listening to a karaoke recording of the Dils. Probably going to be more "wtf is this" just based on the names of some of these bands.
Can't put my finger on JT and the Heartbreakers. They were ok but thought that was it for me. Today had an urge to listen to their Chinese rocks, and now enjoying some other songs. Maybe it's the guitar that jumps in and out, gives me visions of the Double Deuce from Road house. ?
He seems to be holding the club properly which is the important thing. I used to do the preshot shuffle and it kept getting a little longer until it became a problem. Had to go to the range and stop cold turkey.
