Calculated Power Rankings - week 12

Some of you may remember me doing this in the past few years but for those who don't here's a brief description of what this is. I calculate a "score" for beating a team. Everyone gets the same "score" for beating any given team. For instance all teams that have beaten the Bengals get the...

I'm still not seeing the big picture here (btw Random is on vacation and should be back later today so I'm posting for him ).My question is WHY do you want to do this??? You say its to save cashflow. But you don't appear to need the cash - or even have a good place to put it, so you're...

    Week 11 Calculated Power Rankings

Guess not. Last week was only 1/10 of the season and thus 1/10 of what I use for the rankings. And they only beat the team I had ranked 25th last week. Not much impact.

Actually last weeks #7 #8 and #9 lost, which is why they didn't move down.

Whats interesting is why that happened. The Giants are the team that moved up. They were very close to the Buccs before this week. They beat the Lions (7) and the Buccs beat the Falcons (26). Not so much the Buccs moved down as the Giants moving up.

    Week 11 Calculated Power Rankings

Absolutely not. All wins get credit. And all teams get the same credit for beating the same team (ie: everyone that has beaten the Jets get the same credit, but that credit is much less than beating the Packers).

    Week 11 Calculated Power Rankings

I'll debate what has happened all day long with you, but until I get a crystal ball, I'm not going to bump a team based on what they should do from here forward. Get it?So lets see, you want to throw out games where a team lost but should have won and say the Texans got their receiver back so...

    Week 11 Calculated Power Rankings

Corrected the teams.Texans - Seriously, I'm not going to debate what might or might not happen. Browns - wins over bengals ravens dolphins rams seahawks ravens seriously, this isn't last year, where this might be impressive. These teams are a combined 19-41. A mediorce team should...

    Week 11 Calculated Power Rankings

BearsChiefs Packers Eagles Raiders Redskins Dolphins Eagles Lions Cardinals Jets Taking out common wins and the teams everyone is beating. So you think wins over the Lions and Cardinals is better than wins over the Chiefs and Packers? How bout you rank (based on whatever you want)...

    Week 11 Calculated Power Rankings

Feel free to tell me which teams deserve to be above the Bears and why. And I repeated it because the Lions beat them twice.
