Young guys aren't always ready for a full time role. Many, while good, need time to learn the full playbook. Also many of these young guys bust out.
Just because someone in FF drafts a young guy and wants to see him get 10+ targets a game it isn't realistic. These young players have to prove...
Being injured doesn't mean he isn't a good WR. You are correct that others have started to step up. It will be interesting going forward. I also drafted Kirk in one league and had to drop him due to injuries and byes.
Having said that Kirk could work himself back into the starting line-up and...
They definitely could move on from Andrews, I just have a feeling that would be after the season and not during. Again unless they get offered a player they can't resist.
I have no other info except to me it makes sense for the team to keep both. We might not like it for fantasy but the team...
Thanks, that is the thing with BAL - Lamar loves Andrews and BAL will use him in the red zone. I'm hoping for a bounce back.
Side note, Rest of Season who you like better: Hockenson or Andrews? Both underperforming. I think I lean Andrews due to QB play.
Good question, I do think that BAL still believes they can win and get into the playoffs. If that is the case they will keep Andrews unless they feel they can fill a big hole/need. I think the number of teams looking for a TE is fairly small but never know.
BAL likes Andrews so my gut feeling...
I agree but for me personally I'm holding the two seconds as its more valueable at this stage. Since I'm not drafting and don't know who 11 could be or will be I'd rather not "over pay" to move up 5 spots.
During the draft I usually want 2.1 but at this point the "value" of the 2 mid round picks is worth more and can do more with it. Right now I hold the two 2nds personally until I have a feel of what the draft will look like.
I often move up in drafts if a guy is falling but I won't pull the...
I have a few thoughts going forward for those who are optimistic or maybe want to buy in.
When DET hired Campbell and then Ben Johnson their team was bad. First year (2021) the Lions didn't get a win until like game 11. Second year (2022) they hired Johnson as OC and it was a slow start only...
YPC or rush doesn't paint the whole picture. Charbs isn't as a bad as Walker owners want him to be. And Walker also needs to execute some of the plays better and not lose yards. Sure the electric big play is nice but there are certain situations they want Charbs in.
That is the reality - the...
I generally agree about your comment long vs short term BUT - you may only get 1 shot at winning a title and pushing the chips in to win now is worth it in my opinion. This doesn't mean selling Jeanty on the cheap as I agree I would just hold.
Now it depends on your league but if in some...
I've always liked Mac Jones and if he wants to move on after his deal is done with SF he could make A LOT of money. I do believe, like almost all QBs, he needs a good system and WRs.
Right now he has a good system but has no one to work with. Kittle has been out so long Mac hadn't really had...
The severe injuries this year have been rough. I agree with your assessment in that Connor is likely the "easiest" one to come back from. Plus he seems to be one of those guys who has had to fight his whole life and will likely come out of this close to 100% (even tho he is older). I'd probably...
If you are RB rich I would have no problems dealing Jeanty for a good return. I'm not selling cheap and would sell him basically at his draft value to a team that maybe is looking to get younger or was hit with injuries and revamping for next year. This year I think Jeanty will be all over the...
