WR Christian Kirk, HOU (1 Viewer)

I'm surprised there are crickets chirping in here about this guy. As stated above, he's by far the #2 option in this offense that can't run the ball.

I have a feeling he's gonna be a must-add waiver add people are going to be scrambling for when it seems to me it's quite obvious because he the 100 percent slot guy moving forward.
The issue probably is that their OL is so bad that they can’t pass the ball either.
Or is it his rookies need more time to develop for those quick hitters Kirk has shown to be able to get open on?

Texans are a mess have another HS level offensive cordinator, same issues with worst offensive line and a QB that looks permately cooked. They will throw to backup RB and TE over high draft pick WR because....they are the Texans.

Pretty much :kicksrock:

I own up to my misses. Kirk was a big miss for me. I just felt like he was gonna be a steal. His time off has allowed the rookies to be good. Kirk isn't rosterable in most leagues

Being injured doesn't mean he isn't a good WR. You are correct that others have started to step up. It will be interesting going forward. I also drafted Kirk in one league and had to drop him due to injuries and byes.

Having said that Kirk could work himself back into the starting line-up and be relevant, pushing the younger guys back temporarily.

I think Kirk is still talented and is worth monitoring - I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Those kind of players are always blocking the young guys

Young guys aren't always ready for a full time role. Many, while good, need time to learn the full playbook. Also many of these young guys bust out.

Just because someone in FF drafts a young guy and wants to see him get 10+ targets a game it isn't realistic. These young players have to prove they can do everything and beat out the vet.

Busts happen more often than breakouts. The young guys can be good but sometimes they just need more time. And, as mentioned before, Kirk is a good player.

You’re not telling me anything I don’t know. It’s players like Kirk that are boring and you want to see something better.

I think Noel earned more playing time and should take some snaps away from Kirk in the slot.

Noel is the future ,but they paid Kirk a lot of $ . So they kinda have to play Kirk ahead of him.
I think Noel is more talented than Kirk..
Higgins will be good too. Texans did great drafting wrs last few years. Wish Patriots could.

I agree on Noel but he was in an even split with Berrios even with out and I don't think Higgins is supplanting Hutchinson yet.

It's quite odd and frustrating the way they are are super slow playing these rookies especially when they came into the league after being multiple year starters in college. Not just the WR's either, same thing with Woody Marks.

So no idea how all this will work. Seems like they will activate and play a ton of WR's but the only one who should be in fantasy lineups is Nico.

I do think there is a chance Kirk is traded next week. Hope so, he's just a progress stopper at this point for Noel but the way this team rolls if he's not stopping Noel's progress then Berrios probably will.

I think it was you who said in another thread this is like Denver's WR's. It's similar, but with Kirk back lot worse IMO.

As bad as some teams offenses like the Jets and Raiders are playing I'd argue the Texans are the worst fantasy offense in the entire league with respect to providing quality fantasy starters. It's really just Nico who is worth anything.
