If the Raiders would quit dicking him around, then there wouldn't be a problem. All he's asking for is the going rate for #1 picks. If the Raiders didn't want to pony up the money, they shouldn't have traded down and drafted out of a different spot. This has been stated many many times already.

Russell is definitely not immobile. I watched him for 4 years at LSU and he was fantastic at getting out of the pocket and throwing on the run. He also had specifically designed run plays in the offense for him. Why would you design running plays for a QB that was immobile?? He's definitely...

I have Bulger against Washington, Rothleisberger against Baltimore, or Carr against Indy. I am considering picking up and starting Rattay over those guys.

As much as Schottenheimer relies on his RBs to carry the load over the Rivers and the passing game, I'm happy Turner's gonna get some carries. Tomlinson would be run down by the end of the season if Schottenheimer relied on Tomlinson alone.
