This is just the 1st of his moves.  They’ll upgrade at C.  Could make a move for a 1b and/or OF.  Or once Alonso is up for good, McNeil goes to 3b.  Also will add more pen help.  Brody is all in with this team.  Could see Wheeler being dealt for an OF also. 

It’s a great deal for the Mets.  They’re in win now mode.  Championship level staff, build around it.  Locking up arguably best closer in game at 24 years old for 4 years?  Anyone who thinks this is a bad deal for the Mets is just lost.  Were prime years Kimbrel and Kenley Jansen worth a teams’...

He's got 1 target.  The last 2 games with Eli he had 22 targets.  Clearly he's not a part of the game plan today.  

And.....he's a decoy.  Eli barely looking his way.  Oh well. 

Giants insider Jerry Foley on Sirius thinks Shepard will be used more as a decoy today.  Just an FYI for Shepard owners.  Who knows really. 

Giants beat reporters saying he's good to go.   Get him back in your lineups. 

On a side note, man Matt Ryan is terrible.  What happened to him?  Was all last year due to Shanahan?  Guess so.  

That’s being generous.  He’s toast.  No dr would even consider letting him play after watching him stumble to sidelines. Hopefully he can get cleared for next week with the extra days at least
