Consensus Top 300 Albums of All-Time: Taking lists of your 70 favorite albums until 7/1

I have my top 50 ranked and ready but have been stuck on the cutdown from 72 to 70 for a day now. It's ridiculous I know because a one pointer that I'll probably be alone in ranking is about as inconsequential as you can get. But it's still real to me. :oldunsure:

We enjoyed Deep Cover (2025) on Amazon. The combination of action and comedy worked better in the first hour than in its convoluted conclusion. Orlando Bloom's over-the-top portrayal of a method actor was funny and Sean Bean is always watchable. It wasn't as good as Deep Cover (1992) but...

A couple of the acts are related to the Dunedin Sound of 80s New Zealand Indie. David Kilgour was with The Clean and Martin Phillipps (RIP) was with the Chills. The Mad Scene was another Clean spinoff formed with Kilgour's brother Hamish in the early 90s. The other bands are more obscure...

Dreams of retiring in a camper van

One of our good friends did this after he retired. He'd made quite a bit of money flipping houses in SF over the years and could pretty much live wherever he wanted. He retired to Santa Fe for a while until the wanderlust hit. He bought a MB Sprinter conversion and hit the road. He met a...

I heard a Billy Joel song in the produce section of Trader Joe's today. I think it hasn't appeared in the countdown yet.
