Congrats, nice bird. Saw a few hens and one tom. He was crossing a cut corn field about 200 yards out. He gobbled a few times, but just kept walking. 40's and steady rain all morning. Tomorrow looks to be a much better day in terms of weather.

I'll be heading up to the cabin and hunt Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I've hunted and fished many different species. Spring turkey and archery for whitetail are at the top of the list. Nothing beats the gobbling at first light on a calm spring morning.

I think it was originally an AT&T/Uverse production. As with most books made into a TV series, the book is better. Although I was pleasantly surprised that the TV series held true for the most part.
