    Heresy talk. Dropping Tom Brady?

He's had his run. He ain't what he was, and has been killing me at the position. He's got some tough matchups in the next three weeks (Min, Mia, Pit). Several waiver wire pickup dudes are out shining him this year. Time to cut bait and pick up Watson or Prescott or Bortles (small leagues) for...

Redraft Strategies - Waiting on a QB

For late pickers, there is a QB who last year joined an elite club with Peyton and Marino as the only QBs ever with more than 20 TDs in each of their first 2 years. Outplayed Stafford half of the time last year (FWTW). Going round 9-ish. With major upgrades to the O during the off season. andy...

Does your league award a bye week to 1st place?

16 teams, 4 divisions. Division winners make the playoffs (based on record/points/head-to head). Top 2 get a bye week 14. 2 wild cards play division winners #3 and #4 week 14. Then you have 4 for the semifinals week 15...

    William Powell

Buy when there's blood in the streets. There's value here my friends. Looking at the play-by-play, the Cardinals most productive series was with Powell in. The post-injury last 11 minutes of the 4th quarter was not RB time down 2 TDs. Someone will need to line up in that backfield. Bye weeks...

Why is nobody talking about Dwyer?

I concur with much of the above. However, if you're desperate (and I am) at RB, this looks like the week to take Dwyer out for a test drive. He's the better-looking half of a 2 RB platoon taking on a Raiders team that gave up 43/263/4 (!) to Miami last week. Latest reports say "practiced in...

    Is McCluster really toast?

Talking Dexter, RB (/WR?) for KC. Fits the desciption of jack-of-trades, master-of-none, but could be worth a late round flier. He's being drafted (if at all) in around the RB 74 range last I looked. Just looking through the stats from last year, this seems an anomaly. He was RB #42 in...

    Kareem Huggins

There's a Youtube from DeFranco's Gym regarding Huggins' recovery that is impressive. I'm not sure how to post it. Maybe someone younger could. Don't see him as a FB, but he looks 100% recovered and bulked up. If nothing else, the RB position in NE just got murkier IMHO.

    Alex Smith

Niner homer. Have suffered through watching him play for seven painful years. We're winning now despite him, not because of him. If this team gets a QB again, look out.

Shonn Greene is weak like Ukraine

I'm not sure Paris Hilton could get Shonn to man up.

Shonn Greene is weak like Ukraine

Just wondering, have Shonn Greene and Rudi Johnson ever been seen together?

    Mark Clayton

My bad. Looked and didn't see it. FWIW, I'm liking him as a late season WW lottery ticket for teams (like mine) dealing with injuries at WR. (Though I wouldn't start him til I see some production, hopefully this week or next.)

    The value of handcuffs

Taking D. Murray as insurance in the 14th round has been working for me.

    Mark Clayton

He was on fire to start last year. Got injured and was on the PUP til last week. The Lambs are short-handed at WR and could need to throw his way often. What say ye, any chance of a late season resurgence?

    Troy Smith

Niner homer here. Have liked him since college. He's the only reason to watch our games at this point. No reason for Singletary not to roll the dice with the kid for the rest of the season IMHO.
