He’s look slow, banged up in camp and taken awhile to get going. I’m not sure why. Frank Gore Jr even looked better than him in camp. I think that’s why he’s been getting more run at kick return to kind of get him going with confidence as they try to figure out a duo for kickoffs.
That’s me, not reported. Just know how McDermott works. They like him at around a 55% snap share. It’s ballooned a few times to over 70+ this year. He’s on pace for way more touches. I just think we could be easily looking at limited snaps/touches with a mix of injury plus game...
You’re likely going to get managed reps regardless as he’s not 100% a lot of pictures floating around showing him getting taped up today and the swelling. Cook is tough he’ll play. He’s openly talked about wanting the rushing title. I just worry he can make it worse. If they get up 10-14...
He just said he’ll be out there. I think he wants to stay in the leading rusher race. Wouldn’t be surprised if his snap count is reduced and the other two are heavily involved.
Wouldn’t victory lap just yet. He was limited at practice just walking around but by all accounts didn’t do much...
McDermott loves sitting players unless they are 100% and it usually costs them 1-2 games trying to sleep walk to a win. The video and FF Twitter docs think it’s a mild mid foot sprain. The laundry list of players on the injury report this week is alarming.
Hopefully he’s limited Thursday...
100%. Every Friday I can put him in my IR slot and pay to add someone and then Monday he’s back to questionable and I can’t add or offer a trade, set a lineup until I drop someone or wait till Friday again.
I think they sit him this week. I think Ray Davis takes the Cook role to start the game and if it goes well on drive one it’ll continue. Johnson will have the same role and likely all third downs.
Yeah, Geno has been a deer in headlights behind this line you’d think it would mean more unscripted dump offs but he either takes a sack or scrambles opposite side. Annoying for sure.
