Really enjoying this show. Haven't read the novel and find it sometimes difficult to follow who is who in terms of remembering names. My only issue is sometimes I wish they'd just caption Blackthorne as I can't understand what he's saying half the time.
I thought the best line of the episode was from Hunter in the voting booth... "whatever" with a head shake. Summed up the entire episode for me. Many of the players are delusional and several others are bonkers. Heck, some are both.
Lot of criers out there this season. I don't remember seeing anyone like Bhanu in any other season. What a roller coaster he is and I liked how Tiff just hit him with the truth. "You're a good guy, but you're exhausting and we have to let you go, sorry."
Watching the one lady trying to learn...
This is me to a T. I'll have a beer or 2 on the occasional weekend. Most I drink is during an annual March golf trip with friends. After that, I could go dry until the holidays, with a beer here and there at a BBQ, etc.
My wife loves her glass (or 3) of wine a couple/three times a week...
Well, they certainly do exist whether some think they do or not. If analytics do not take into consideration identified risks to potential outcomes, then it is only part of the equation that coaches need to take into account.
He coaches as if he's behind or the under dog, which works great...
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Understand the argument that he's gone for it throughout the year with a high percentage rate, etc. But this isn't week 4 or 8 against the Falcons or Panthers. Playoffs are a different animal. This is winner goes to the SB, loser goes home, and you...
Not good. Tepper needs to step back and trust the personnel he hires. Makes me wonder more about the Morgan GM promotion.
The locker room needs a new vision/culture and it's unclear whether Canales has the ability to create one... or the ability to put something in place without having to deal...
If my team were playing, I'd consider it but would probably be at a watch party at my son in law's anyway, so no. Besides, the game will replay on the NFL network a few hours later and run for weeks. I'd catch it the next day.
As a Panther fan, I concede that I may never face this dilemma.
Dave Canales, Tampa Bay's OC to be next HC?
Sounds like maybe he was the only one to say yes. One season as an OC, From offensive quality control coach to QBs coach and passing game coordinator at USC before joining Seattle's staff.
Never been a head coach at any level. :mellow...
I know Harbough wouldn't want anything to do with Tepper, ditto Belichick... but I wish we could get an established coach instead of throwing these so called "hot" O/D coordinators against the wall and hope one sticks.
Keep pounding was a nice motto but this team needs a reboot. Someone who...
:<_<: So going with the guy who was with Fitterer and involved in some of the tragic decisions since the team's inception. I liked Morgan as a player but what does he know about building and managing a roster? He retired due to too many concussions, IIRC... totally unrelated though!
Guess...
