2025 Carolina Panthers: Looking Forward to Continued Mediocrity, Kee... START Pounding! (1 Viewer)

Guess we're looking at another ho-hum season after another winless preseason. Can't judge anything on preseason as no one plays any significant downs, but they continue to look bad.

Glad they re-signed Renfrow after trading Thielen. Hopefully Young will develop but likely looking at picking in top 10-12 again next spring.

But, let's go Panthers!

Another season opener, another disappointment.

Last in the league in run defense in 2024, one of three teams to give up 200+ yards in week one this year. Would've been last but Jacksonville doesn't have Derrick Henry.

Well what a nice win. Sure didn't expect a shutout against the Falcons. They'll be looking to return the favor when they play in ATL, but that was fun to watch. No one spectacular but all phases played well, with back up linemen and a strong defense. More of this please.

Miami isn't the greatest team but a nice come back win none the less. Go Rico!

Young still scares me as QB1. Wonder if they'll look at a QB in the next draft. Does the NFL allow cleats to have lifts inserted? Make him 6', but those won't help with arm strength...

"They wasn't buckled up." Gotta love Rico.

Great game, all the way down to Etienne going down before the goal line to keep the clock moving (even though he really wanted his first NFL TD). Gutsy call on the 4th and 4 on the last drive, but Renfrow does what he does. Great throw there too.

Bryce has quietly had 8 game winning drives. Give him protection and he can deliver. Still not sure if he's "the guy" for this team but the Panthers are .500 for the first time since 2021.

Really was a dart into a tight window. Bryce definitely has an impressive mentality.

Something to build on, sure. Went to the last two games and the vibes have shifted around town. These are two abysmal run defenses though. Give the coaching staff credit for sticking with the run, even when down big vs Miami.

Hopefully they've learned that the way to victory is behind a strong rushing attack with this squad. Avoid getting down big early. Chuba and Rico should both get plenty of touches.

Winning streak! Panthers have a winning record for the first time in 4 years. But tough road ahead outside of the Saints twice.

Hoping for a couple of surprises but probably looking at 6-11 or 5-12. Still, better than 2-15.

Nice to see Leggett finally catching some of his targets, and JC Horn is quietly having a great season.

The dialogue (in this forum and internet overall) about Dowdle and Hubbard is quite ridiculous right now.

Kinda felt like they were going to let this one slip away once Bryce went out. Horn made some really excellent plays on the ball to save the game, but you really have to be impressed with how the DL is coming together.
