Difference is that the US didnt play to win, but instead played 'not-to-lose', so they did. The US roster is loaded with players that choke/shutdown/underachieve in the NHL playoffs every year (Johnson & Johnson, Stepan, Backas, van Riemsdyk, Pacioretty, etc), so it should be no surprise...

Lousy ending to the season... Jimmy was 100% predictable and Mike was extremely disappointing as standard now. Need to find something else to watch Monday night (which really bums me out) as the show isn't even interesting any longer, or maybe catch up on my sleep...

This is easy to solve... Men's national team vs. Women's national team. The money is pooled and the winning team get 60/40 payout. Or better yet money is split by the final score goal differential.

Crazy really isn't the term I would have chosen... Make sure your will is up to date though.
