I like two defenses:
Arizona vs. Philly
Jets at Miami
Arizona has a very good defense and Philly historically plays bad in Arizona. Philly also just lost 1, if not 2 offensive linemen, and Maclin might not play either. Even if Philly scores, I see sacks and see turnovers.
I was going to hold onto Smith but there are simply better options out there, and my WR's are decent enough and I have enough debt that I can afford to cut bait. I don't see this coming back to haunt me.
Losing Steven Jackson hurts, but thankfully in my draft I had Cedric Benson and Tim Hightower on the bench. So it might not kill me. Bowe killed me but Forte and McCoy really came through. Still might not win, up 1 point and I have Brandon Marshall, while my opponent has Gostkowski.
I'm debating between Rice and Peterson with the 1st pick in just over an hour. Totally confused. I will probably take Peterson, but only because the league is not PPR. If there were point for receptions, I'd take Rice. I worry I'll regret not taking Rice. Foster's hammy and loss of fullback...
I think DJax will not play. He's too valuable and the Eagles need him healthy. McCoy might not play either. I don't expect stud numbers from Kolb, but he can still have good numbers with Maclin, Celek, Avant, Riley Cooper, etc...Eagles want to showcase him for possible trade, or in case Vick...
For those complaining about the game being canceled....I never have missed a game in 9 years, in rain, in snow, in wind, in cold...but I was not going to this game. There were a number of factors that led to the postponement, but let me just list some of them:
1. Philadelphia isn't New...
+1The Philly fans have criticized Mcnabb for years over two minute drills, not being a leader, being out of shape, not being clutch, being inconsistent....for years the national media just blamed it on grumpy philly fans. Deion Sanders said this was the worst trade ever to the Redskins. Now...
