We had this controversy a while back and implemented a one year rule before that player could be traded back to same team. Maybe could do a shorter time period but this has worked for us.
I understand what you said and I was pointing out that in this case it wasn't tanking. To your second statement yes I play for money but mainly for fun but the problem is what I brought up in my post, You're giving someone a break b/c the game happened to be on Thursday night, then next time...
Team B is 5-3 so clearly not a tank. People are responsible for setting their lineups. If this weren't a Thursday game there would be no way to put it in a new QB so basically you're saying he gets to correct his mistake b/c it's a Thursday game. It's a friendly league then sure but otherwise...
You are correct, it can be integrity issue, if the team was 1-7 this would fall under our anti-tanking rule and they would be fined bid dollars next year. Yes it can be a bit subjective, doesn't happen too often but our commish makes the call on this, can't remember it ever being argued and the...
In my home league which has pretty strict rules, this would not be reversed, it's the owner's fault, I get people are busy but just need to check your lineup quickly some time on Thursday.
I was wrong about Dobbins impact, thought would be committee but Harvey would be the 1a, at least by mid season and that's not the case and Dobbins running well. Will be interesting to see how things play out the rest of the season and if they bring back Dobbins next year that might put a damper...
Simple answer is prob mostly new OC and new QB that don't seem to use checkdowns. Someone else may have a more detailed response.
ETA: prob also a bit of being old and washed too.
Agree Cousins can take this job but has to really have a good performance and show that last year's poor play was due to not being fully recovered, Penix has looked rather pedestrian, having London out will not help matters though
