    had a bug/pest control guy stop by yesterday with this shtick "i'm contracted with your neighbors Steve and Barb across the street... and Linda and Tom next door" bruh, the people across the street aren't Steve or Barb, and the woman next door is a widow, not named Linda.

    going to concur with you. seems like i'm more often interrupted, and then the person carries on and on and on, by older people. in corporate America that may be a function of status/positioning, though.

    which is how this generation differs from ours (maybe we're similar age?) kids now are more likely so stare blankly for a few seconds, whereas teenage kids of our generation were more likely to crack back and maybe even fight. kids now just kind of... deflect it??
