Third war in row tools won't work for me. When I log in it says we're not in a war. Does anybody have a fix?

I have putting off pushing the button for th10 for two reasons... I would like to push heroes to at least 20 each and I don't know if I want to deal with the elixir grind again. I'm kinda happy at th9. I'm pretty much maxed out at th9 though (except heroes and walls). Thoughts on the th10 upgrade?

When removing multiple trees I like to make my builders run to the opposite side of the screen to the tree furthest away. The guy looks like he could stand to lose a few pounds.
