Here is Honda's current roster and participation level for everyone. Please post correction here and I will update this specific post as needed. If we do decide to make changes, the accounts will be reviewed from bottom up. All of the inactive accounts are kid accounts, making this a bit more difficult. Dads, if you know your kid isn't playing much anymore, it may be time to move them. I know many of you want to be in the same clan with them, I'm not sure what the answer is there. If this was 50 adults clan I wouldn't write this, those accounts would have been booted already.

After our last war, I'm moving to the 4 golem/2 Pekka/2 jump spell layout. Tried it this AM for an easy 2 stars on a decently developed TH10.

That said, wasn't someone saying that 4 max quakes could almost take out an inferno tower along with the walls nearby? I think that'd be a game changer for me.

I think, but not totally sure where you can verify this, that 4 max quakes gets a max inferno down to 45% of total health. So....In a sense you take a jump/rage and make it a quake.

Value here is going to be very base specific. Obviously, on a moat style (think CF) quake has tremendous value. On a dragonflower type base it has less value.

This is useful, maybe should be added to the index

spreadsheet to calc the value of an eq spell and has impact for our TH8/7 players as well with the ZAPQUAKE having relevance at those th levels.

Finished max quake yesterday - I've heard the damage is 40% to surrounding defenses such as Inerno, Xbow, TH, etc

40% or 45% damage before a troop is dropped is pretty significant.

And agree - has to be a certain type of base where max walls are close to an inferno and/or xbow and/or TH

Here is some more on why Honda has been so noisy about changes. We finally hit the point in clan progression where every war (the last three i believe plus the current one) is competitive. Organizing those wars as FBGS management already know becomes too difficult with inactive and part time players. Even for the active players it will be that much more important for you to cooperate with the guys who are trying to keep things going during the war, it's just as annoying to have to explain to everyone why you are being asked to hit a certain target as it is to sit around wondering if someone is going to show up and use their attacks.

If you look on the roster above, we should have no problem warring with 40 most of the time, but this simply is not true. Everyone opts out every so often and it isn't always the same day. We still get 30 once a week and most of the time it's 35. I will say though to this last point it has been more 35 than 30 and we did have 40 war a couple of times last few weeks as opposed to scrambling to fill 30 like before.

So, based on the list above, removing the kid accounts that are truly inactive (need all of your confirmation on this) will make room for 5 people who are active and will war regularly. War regularly means twice a week or more, there's no point for anyone to come join us if we have to do this again in a month so anyone considering a move in is on notice. I like everyone in the clan so I'd rather keep the guys we have who are active but don't war than to accept someone who wars but in unmanageable. Also this clan will remain PG as long as there are young 'uns.

If the active warring guys leave quattro, what does the donation level look like with the accounts that get left? This is probably useful for anyone thinking of moving there. Hopefully it's not a desert like Boog.

The guys in the first two tiers of Honda plus Animator plus Ace are super active outside of war, most others not on the bottom tier are fairly active outside of war. This assessment is for war participation specifically. We have people who get up to 2000 donations within the first day of the reset, norm by the end of the cycle in the high end has been pushed up to 3500 - 5000 range. I think they take that as a competition now or something.

Based on the donation levels, most of the troops are donated by the warring folk, but I do not fully know how or what the donation levels will look like after any player movement.

I think quake has less usefulness than thought. Jump, quietly, was changed in behavior to be as big as quake you can now cover a 4 tile gap front to back. It's going to be base dependent at this point and how big a hold the eq can make versus just a surgical jump.

You are all over this stuff...more than anyone here. But, they altered jump and it wasn't mentioned in the update? Seems like a big change. I assume the video shows the difference, I will have to watch it. Also want to see how max EQ does.

Jump has the same radius as quake. Early on there was no mention of this anywhere and was not in patch notes.

Initially, it seemed quake was bigger than jump adding to its value but this isn't that case. Not saying it doesn't have value but that one extra tile was a bfd. Would have been nice to mention in the patch notes.

Got thrown into those first two wars without really knowing they were starting or even how to opt out. I am cool with warring 2-3 times a week at some point, but will likely be on long important upgrades for a while so it may be a negative to have me in.

thx worm, would prefer you join war and progress through it as long as you are okay with hitting lower-than-u bases and other people telling u what to do. just gotta show up. the way this game goes, it's rare you're not updating something important unless you're like me and have alts that never get upgraded. so no point in sitting out for upgrades as long as it doesn't bug you. join 2 wars, skip 1, still gives you 4-5 days of upgrading in between especially if you sit out of the Sunday start war.

I like you Bucky. I really do look at it as fun ribbing but do think you get too worked up about it. You were being a pain in the butt with dogging culdeus in here so much for always telling people what to do, but always asking what to do yourself and that rubbed me wrong. And the donation ratio, I'm not trying to be the police, but it's always anemic. For a good year now, would love to see you end a week + just once as you are a high level th9.

I'm not super serious about Clans and certainly this was all a factor in moving over to FBGs - I did need a break from getting annoyed by some of your shtick in there.

That said - I've stressed this before and I can't stress it enough again. It's just a game and I was just going where I thought I'd have more fun. We still got along just fine going forward I hope. On a clans basis, I just wanted some time away. This was around the time you were doing attacks that all the leaders asked you not to and zero starring with them for 2 wars in a row (I don't remember the specifics but I was basically begging you not to run some weird new broke ### attack and you did anyway). I get super competitive in wars lol.

Most importantly: It's all good and I hope you don't take it personally outside of the game as everything else I know about you is A+ in my book. I'm sorry if you got the impression that I was just dogging you mercilessly. I apologize and hope there's no hard feelings going forward.

This is basically the way I set this up for real wars.

-Get the war setup on tools and people call bases that night.

In the morning while skipping the people who made calls:

-Ladder in the TH10 vs TH10 based on level of awake heros

-Assign the TH10vTH9 3 star bullies to the max TH9 bases

-+5-ish the remaining TH9 bases taking into account hero status where relevant

-Assign in our TH9/8 vs TH8s

Usually this leaves 5-6 people without a first base, most of them tend to be the casuals, doesn't take long to need some cleanup anyways.

Not a joke, a penance

Not asked for but my opinion, stick with it. I'm struggling at an almost maxed TH9, just because you get lvl5 hogs all your problems don't go away. I truly think max TH8's just can't be had by other max TH8's and early TH9's. It was difficult before the update but with the way it nerfed hogs that just compounded the problem. Heck look up & down our roster, guys that were solid, sure fire 3 stars a month or so ago and putting up 1 stars now. They didn't wake up one day and all of a sudden forget how to war, the game has changed and we all need to learn to adjust to it. It's coming man, just gotta ride the suck train for a while until it gets worked out.
