They discussed Pynadath on the most recent Scuffed podcast. Apparently his body hasn’t caught up to his technique yet. They were saying he is so little he gets pushed around too much and hasn’t learned to deal with it yet. 

Read somewhere that he’s the 3rd lb they’ve brought in this summer. Hope he gets some time, but it sounds like the plan is for him to marinate this year and get a real crack at the job next season. 

Unless I’m wrong I think Alvarez was the d-mid.

It’s the same setup that drove me crazy at the U20 WC. The Mendez, Pomykal, Durkin midfield has two guys that don’t play defense in it. Same set up with the senior team (Bradley, McKennie, Pulisic). I think Bradley’s a better defender than Durkin, but it’s the same idea. The D in d-mid needs to...

I thought Lewis showed a spark against Panama, but no ideas or end product. If he were 18 that’d be fine, but 21 ain’t young in this game.

Just finished grading and I did indeed give Weston a +2 for “tough guy” 😂. Just gotta write it up now. 

Paul Carr tweeted out that that was the FIRST EVER brace for a USMNT defender. Heady times at the Gold Cup. 😂

Hasn’t played since like January or February. His club situation is a mess and he hasn’t scored since the Clinton administration. All that being said, he’s still better than Zardes. 🤣
