I think with this poor of a landing spot you have to put him behind any of the even slightly talented RBs with half a chance of attaining a major role(even if through injury to the starter ahead of them). So I'm thinking somewhere around the 25 range(Dynasty PPR).
Though I haven't had time to...
As an Alabama alum that watched both for 4 years here are my thoughts:
Trent was an absolute bull in college. Regardless of the play call, he'd move the pile 3 yds from the point of contact on every play. So you could argue his overwhelming lower body strength transferred better to the...
Given that it's 16-teams 6-pt TDs and you need to start 2 RBs and all the young QBs I like are off the board, I would definitely gamble on Trent Richardson here. Which I don't think is much of a gamble to be honest.
Ryan Matthews is the other option, but I MUCH prefer Richardson.
Good topic.
I've got big rosters, but these are the guys I've given up on this year:
Jared Cook - Even if he actually won the startin job, I don't see elite #s ever happenin in that offense.
Brandon Tate - I just dropped him this past week, in favor of Mike Goodsen. Doubt he ever gets enough...
I think a lot of people will now start Collie next week and be dissapointed. However, Gonzalez nicked his ankle, so with all the WR3 targets, he might be good.
It's honestly hard to tell anything from a QB performance like that one. When Manning makes mistakes and the team falls behind it...
Was really expecting this post to be some crazy person stating how Tim Tebow will play everytime DEN gets the ball in the redzone this year. Thank god it wasn't.
Favre looked a little off, and he was walking gingerly it seemed. However, I wouldn't even put the majority of the blame on Favre.
The WRs were largely in blanket coverage. Berrian especially, and Harvin didn't fair much better.
Whether this is due to good coverage or really poor WR...
His solid run from the 6, and then the 1yd punch-in were perhaps the 2 most important plays of the game for PT owners. If he ever becomes the go-to back near the endzone, he can go from above avg PPR RB, to elite. Btw, 19 carries matched his highest total from all of last year.
Bush looked...
All red-drafts are pretty much luck. Every year the guy that got some late round RB that nobody predicted wins typically.
I much prefer dynasty, as being able to predicted talented players over many transactions and decisions will eventually lead to the better owners rising to the top...
I'd take Moreno, and it'd be a pretty easy decision. The situation is pretty meh for both, but for totally different reasons. I'd take Moreno just because I think he'll take another step forward this year, and is less of an unknown, and is unquestionably the guy in th Den running game this year.
Lynch still holds considerable longterm upside imo. Now is just not the time to trade him. I'd also give Ronnie Brown for Lynch and Jackson(dynasty), in a heart beat. Buffalo is becoming the new Raiders for fantasy production. I'm doubtful Spiller can defy the odds either given the situation...
