I hope you got good value on those transactions. I'm one for tempering expectations about rookies, or even breakout players, but I will say this guy is truly special (and I owned and watched J.Gordon the last couple of years). I will say to all that have not watched him every game, you have...
Hmmm, like what you've done with the place.
Two for two this year. Finally won my main league after fifteen years and four previous championship game losses. Josh Gordon propelled me down the stretch run and then Andy Dalton delivered the trophy for me. Can't tell you how relieved I am to...
I agree, that's one of the reasons I have plugged in Todman. With Sproles looking more spry each week, plus Ingram getting carries, it's hard to know which NO RB will produce.
Yup, this is what I think. I remember watching the Browns last year and Weeden would suck, for the most part, but there would still be one or two plays where the combination of Weeden's arm and Gordon's speed would result in an opportunity for a BIG play (great for distance leagues) that could...
Gotta give a plug for subscription. I find the subscription content to be well worth the money. Plus, I find that their customer service to be outstanding (kudos to Clayton Gray in particular).
With a little luck, the subscription contest alone will cover the fees.
Gotcha, and good point, it didn't seem like they had enough time to review it before the Giants kicked the extra point. And if any play deserved scrutiny, that one did. I knew as soon as they said Calvin's was being reviewed it would be reversed. Of course, I was expecting the same thing with...
It was a scoring play which receives an automatic review--no need for a coach's challenge (if that is what you are saying).
To anyone: Back to the point I made about the defender's helmet coming off: Anyone know the rule for that?
Thanks for the gif, Greg. Last night I didn't notice he only got one foot down. That definitely should have had the same outcome as Calvin's non-catch. (Aside: Seriously, this only seems to happen to Megatron when I roster him in my main league, so sorry fellow owners--it's on me)
Here's...
I agree with the observations that there seem to be fewer clear-cut value plays this year. Last year there were a couple obvious plays at almost every position--not so much this year. Here's what I've come up with:
QB: $42 (4)
RB: $92 (6)
WR: $63 (6)
TE: $32 (3)
PK: $9 (3)
D: $12 (3)
25...
I like the Colts because, as Steveski said, they also get Miami at home week 2. Bucs are close, but my tie breaker went to the Colts because of the week 2 matchup and the fact they are playing at home. I usually prefer to use a defense playing at home when I am going just by matchups.
I'd say you're the only one who can answer that question becuase it all comes down to what kind of owner you want to be: The guy who games the system for maximum benefit, regardles of whether some may perceive it as skirting sportsmanship, or the one who is NOT that guy. Your call IMO. Of...
