I bought 500 shares of Shopify in November 2023 for $67 a share. Sold half of it last week at $150. Took the proceeds and purchased 417 EXC at $44.99 and 218 XLU at $86.06.
So I'm not a complete nitwit. Just mostly a nitwit.

Immigration policy has taken a lot of workers out of the equation.
It will be interesting, possibly scary, to see what AI does to the employment rate.
Same thing with driverless cars and more importantly, trucks. I think we are still many years away from driverless...

AAPL has been moving like a jumping bean on a hot plate.
Short term negatives are the criticisms of falling behind in AI and of course the POTUS threatening them every month or so.

Happy we had a pull back. It sounds awesome to have the markets rebound and go straight up but it's not sustainable. Not to mention (IMO) stocks in general get right back to the overvalued territory.
Let's go up slowly, figure out these stupid tariffs, and give earnings a chance to catch up.

I'm not an expert like you but "coiled spring" was the adjective I was looking for in regards to the upcoming AAPL and AMZN earnings. (ETA best case scenario looking for a close over $200 for both) Would be a beautiful thing to give Mrs. SLB a blank check to remodel our kitchen...
