The idea is that owners have 11 weeks to make all the moves they want and to set up their teams for the playoffs. We wanted to reward the better drafts and the owners who made good moves during the regular season. We didn't want to reward the guy who didn't plan ahead and went 6-7 and picked...
We allow just one add/drop per week after week 11. He can change his linup all he wants. The rule is clearly stated and we have played under it for 5 years. The problem is that his backup QB has already played and he already made a pickup this week so he can't make another. He's wants to be...
Thanks for the help, everyone. That is the decision I went with. We do have a dispute clause in our rules and he wants to put it to a vote if he can get another owner to back him up.
F.Y.I. The one waiver rule pickup per week at the end of the year and playoffs is meant to keep the mediocre...
An owner in my league has Ben Rothlisberger. His backup is Eli Manning and he has no other QB on his roster. Obviously, Manning has played and normally couldn't be started after his game has been played.
After Week 11 my league allows only one waiver transaction per week and the owner already...
I don't think it's your place to say anything more. The Commish needs to be the one to take action. It's good that the league lets the Commish know, but that's why there is a Commish to take care of the problems! I fine people $25 for setting an invalid lineup (starting a player listed as out...
I'm sure someone else has brought this up but I haven't gone through the posts... what's the deal with no detailed analysis of the matchups for the players this week? Really throws a wrench into planning lineups.
Don't forget that Schaub was playing on a bad wheel after missing a bunch of the preseason. He needs to get up to speed, and a bad ankle takes some time to get back and will affect his mechanics even if it's subconsciously for a couple weeks. I'll roll with him through Week 3 and reevaluate.
You e-mailed and called the owner. His fault. A dilligent owner would know what happens in the case of a tie, and if he needed him, he would have been on the stick. Why would he have waited until the game was nearly over? Didn't he have to finalize his starting lineup? You did the right...
omg, IT'S CHILDRESS! He's the problem. Until he's gone, ADP is marginal top ten. Vanilla offense... actually, it's more like a soy offense. Not enough touches. No QB. ADP has the talent.
I know this is a goofball thread, but I actually hope he plays well and has an extended stay. Went to college with him, not a friend but chatted a couple times in the gym. He played basketball at North Dakota and when his eligibility was up he played football and made the NFL from a DII...
