I've been in a great league for 11 years but, like all good things, it's time for it to come to an end. Some of the owners are moving on, others have become jerks, and frankly it just seems like time to start over in 2009.
I'd like to set up a 10-team league (two divisions). The first year...
Questions for tonight's show:
1. Question One:
I am in a tight battle for the division title. I need to start TWO of the following WRs this week, which ones get the job done?
WR Burress at Baltimore
WR Avery vs. 49ers
WR Marshall at Falcons
WR S. Moss vs. Cowboys
WR Muhammad vs. Lions...
From the Minneapolis Star Tribune's blog today:
CB Antoine Winfield worked a bit during red-zone drills today and said he has not had any setbacks. His status officially is questionable.
Doesn't help much, but there you go.
I just got an open-ended "what would it take to get Peterson?" trade offer from a guy in our league who owns LT, Lynch, Burress (probably his top three targets). Not saying I'd deal AP, but if I do trade him to this guy (a big Vikings homer) I'm making him over-pay.
I've been offered Carson Palmer and Wes Welker for Alexander and his backup.
The only reason I'm not JUMPING on this trade is because I'm afraid of being burned by Alexander having a breakout few games ahead.
Thoughts?
I read a Cincy blog earlier in the day that said he was dressed for practice, but then the official report came out today with him as Doubtful and said he didn't participate in practice.
Anybody know anything about his injury? Does he kick this week? I can put him on IR, but then I can't access...
